Bentley at 10 weeks

We have had Bentley now for 4 weeks and couldn't be more in love. He is a smart, fun, and joyful guy. He gets along well with our other Goldens and loves riding in the car.

We got to work on training already and he has done really well. He was potty trained in 10 days. It was helpfull having the other dogs to follow and I was able to stay home and work with him. He has the sit command down pretty well and we are now working on stay. Can you tell we are pretty proud of him

Bentley was 13.5 lbs when we got him and now is 25lbs. I think he is going to be a big dog.

Wow what a great first week with Yogi!

Yogi is doing great with the potty training, as like Suka's parents, we have had a few mistakes but I hit myself over the head with a paper and I am now doing better. Yogi is so smart, ( See the training video.) He has learned to do some basic obedience already. He is well on his way to being that Therapy dog! He loves, LOVES the kids! He has had fun meeting the horses. (He is very brave.) It was so fun to see a litter mate. I hope all will get involved, it will be fun to see them.

Suka part 2

Still doing great! Only a few accidents in the house and always our fault - we forget after he wakes up from his naps to take him right outside. Otherwise he has been great. And he loves the snow!!

Our little Suka

So it has been 3 days since Suka arrived and I didn't have any idea how amazing it would be to be a dog owner. I love him! The first night he whined a little in his crate but then each night a little less and for the past 2 nights he hasn't evened whined at all. He prefers to sleep in his crate (especially when the kiddos come over to see him). We play hard all day and then he sleeps A TON! Potty trained the first hour, he has had NO accidents - amazing. He is so smart. We have taught him to come, sit and lay down.
Couldn't be happier!!!

I'M HOME!

Yogi arrived home yesterday! Lisa arrived around 11:00 with 4 Puppies. (Lily, Simon and Saul) One of them, Yogi, They were running all over inspecting all the smells and the horses. Lilly was a bit reserved and barked when it got to scary, the boys lead the way. Yogi was so sad when his brothers and sisters left, it was a real heart wrencher. After a short nap Yogi visited the vet. The vet really liked Yogi. He thought he was very well put together and seemed well ajusted.After that we picked up the kids from school. The kids were so excited!
Yogi's first night went well. He slept in a crate right next to our bed. He started to whine and get upset. All it took was a positive scratch on the head when he was quiet, and he went to sleep. He woke us up every two hours to widdle. He went right out and did his, "Business." He is eating well this morning and has had fun playing.
