Yogi is getting to be big!

Smart at Pet Smart

We went to a crazy day at PetSmart. Yogi had a great new experience with STRESS! He saw about 100 dogs 30 cats,4 bunnies and a snake. People loved him. They thought he was very beautiful. On man even ran to get his wife to show her Yogi. They wanted to know where we got him. Utah English Goldens of Course. He did so well and he was very controlled for a pup. Yog was very glad to get back in the car and was even helpfull at getting in. Usually he is very timid about it. I guess his crate looked GOOD after that crazy place.

The Yogster

Yogi has been doing well this winter. He has been learning some more basic obedience. He did have a bit of a food and toy gaurding thing going on. We have been working on that. (Apparently he was the largest pup because he at the most!) He is getting over it though. He seems to be well adapted around other dogs. We are really enjoying him around the house. The kids love playing with him. He has all his shots now and will be ready to socialize in the summer when I get more time.

Bentley at 10 weeks

We have had Bentley now for 4 weeks and couldn't be more in love. He is a smart, fun, and joyful guy. He gets along well with our other Goldens and loves riding in the car.

We got to work on training already and he has done really well. He was potty trained in 10 days. It was helpfull having the other dogs to follow and I was able to stay home and work with him. He has the sit command down pretty well and we are now working on stay. Can you tell we are pretty proud of him

Bentley was 13.5 lbs when we got him and now is 25lbs. I think he is going to be a big dog.

Wow what a great first week with Yogi!

Yogi is doing great with the potty training, as like Suka's parents, we have had a few mistakes but I hit myself over the head with a paper and I am now doing better. Yogi is so smart, ( See the training video.) He has learned to do some basic obedience already. He is well on his way to being that Therapy dog! He loves, LOVES the kids! He has had fun meeting the horses. (He is very brave.) It was so fun to see a litter mate. I hope all will get involved, it will be fun to see them.
